This one-day event is all about reconnecting, learning, and sharing ministry. We’ll enjoy fellowship, conference time, and breakout sessions—plus a little preview of our 2026 Synod Assembly theme, “Grace in a Digital Space.”

We'll hear from Pastor Ian McConnell, a Lutheran pastor, digital communicator, and former youth minister with a passion for helping the church speak the Gospel clearly and authentically in today’s world. After spending 15 years in youth ministry, Ian found himself drawn more deeply into pastoral leadership, bringing with him a gift for plainspoken theology and embodied faith.

Ian has gained a wide online following for his thoughtful, honest reflections on scripture and church life—most recently through a viral video on Romans 13 that sparked meaningful conversations across denominational lines. His work centers on helping church leaders navigate the challenges of digital culture while remaining grounded in the Gospel. He believes the church is at its best not when it performs insider language for itself, but when it speaks good news in ways real people can hear.
