A Lutheran Disaster Response grant, in collaboration with the Northwestern Minnesota Synod, is now available to support those affected by the severe storms that impacted Bemidji, MN, on June 21, 2025.

Lutheran Disaster Response works to share God’s hope, healing, and renewal with communities disrupted by disaster, offering both immediate assistance and long-term recovery support.

ELCA congregations and members are encouraged to apply using the grant application linked below. This grant is designed to serve as a financial bridge, providing support for needs that may not be covered by insurance or other available funding sources. Once completed, please email the application to Pastor Rebel Hurd at rebelhurd@cord.edu. She will submit it to the local response team for review.
